Q1 What did you do this year that you’d never done before?

  1. Sold my mum’s old Santana, which is too dilapidated to drive safely for her ;)
  2. Send my girl friend to a intensive English learning camp, where she can went all her out to improve her English in a shortest time.
  3. Established my first overseas banking account, or rather, two accounts. And now the third one is in its process.
  4. Got my first foreign SIM card, cards actually, one for the U.S. and one for the U.K.
  5. Sent and received my first Linkedin recommendation, a straight-A who obtained Master’s degree from the Cambridge and Imperial College London.
  6. Got married with my beloved wife, yeah it’s she who still in that camp, and I won’t be married again :)
  7. Bought my first domain and established my first website, hoping that I’ll count on it for a living in the future, may it’s a beginning of something great.

Q2 Did you keep your new year’s resolutions?

Absolutely, studying English well is the most important thing, not one of them, till now, every day.

Q3 Did anyone close to you give birth?

No.

Q4 Did anyone close to you die?

Fortunately not :)

Q5 What cities/states/countries did you visit?

Not this year, but we’re preparing at full steam, to live abroad permanently.

Q6 What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year?

Freedom.

For one, the internet the most Chinese using is actually a LAN(local area network) if you know what I mean.

People who working in this country is actually a slave rather than a worker. Furthermore, working in here at a subsidiary company headquarters in Swiss which profits from global except China itself is worth to be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever done before. It’ll the same of the other corporations in China.

Q7 What date(s) from this year will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

It should be my wedding registration day.

Q8 What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Despite enduring the most challenging working environment I have ever encountered, navigating through various forces. Through my adjustments and finding ways to avoid internal conflicts, I’ve managed to survived. Not for money, but for payroll statement, sad but heart-stirring.
